Stratos Jet Charters Reveals Acceptance Of Crypto Payments For Flights Via FTX Pay – Bitcoin News

Stratos Jet Charters Inc., based in Orlando, Florida, announced that the company has partnered with FTX US and the collaboration will allow Stratos Jet customers to pay for services with encrypted payments through FTX Pay. The CEO of Stratos Jet said the company was looking for a crypto partner and noted that FTX was an “ideal fit.”

Stratos Jet customers can book and pay for flights using cryptocurrencies

Stratos Jet Charters Inc. revealed on Tuesday that the company has reached a deal with crypto firm FTX US and will allow customers to pay with cryptocurrencies. The company is a private jet charter broker and offers a platform called Stratos Marketplace for desktop and mobile devices. The app allows people to book flights with Stratos Jet instantly and with FTX integration, the company says with “a few more clicks, customers can also easily book and pay for their charter flights.”

Stratos Jet CEO Joel Thomas explained during the announcement that the company is looking for a crypto partner to work with Stratos Marketplace. Thomas said the myriad of FTX security features and offerings led the company to choose the crypto company. In a statement sent to Bitcoin.com News, Thomas clarified that the “[FTX] The platform is sophisticated yet easy for customers to use, and it fits perfectly into our air charter market.

Stratos Jet is not the only private jet to offer customers the option of paying in cryptocurrency. In mid-February, Bitcoin.com News reported on the report by directional aviation company Privatefly, which indicated that nearly 20% of the company’s sales were paid for in cryptocurrency in January. People can also take advantage of Fast Private Jet company with crypto payment company Bitpay.

Regarding the Stratos Jet partnership, FTX US President Brett Harrison says FTX Pay was designed to allow businesses to “accept payments in any type of currency.”

“As an organization, Stratos puts the customer experience first and we are happy to assist them with this process through our payments platform,” added Harrison. “It’s exciting to work with an industry leader and help them improve their customer experience while increasing the presence of digital assets outside of the traditional financial landscape. “

The CEO of Stratos Jet concluded by explaining that there has been an “unprecedented level of demand for private aviation”. The company executive felt that leveraging FTX would “significantly reduce our credit card risk.” FTX’s collaboration with Stratos Jet follows the company’s agreement with Monumental Sports Entertainment and a number of sports-related partnerships in 2021.
