NASCAR’s Brandon Brown kisses his controversial vocals in crypto deal – deadline

NASCAR driver Brandon Brown, whose interview led to the popular song “Let’s go, Brandon” that torments President Joe Biden and his supporters, has decided to embrace the controversy.

After initially claiming he was not political and struggling to find a sponsor due to the song’s questionable track record, Brown is now sponsored by a cryptocurrency, LGBCoin. The token is an acronym for the infamous chant. which is itself a variation of a more vulgar expression adopted by critics of Biden.

The Twitter account for LGBCoin is a new crypto whose slogan is “meme coin inspiring patriotism”. It can currently be traded on Coinbase and Uniswap. It has sold over $ 190,000 in the past 24 hours at a microscopic price hovering around $ 0.00000007,867 per token.

Brown’s support for the play comes a month after he claimed he was “unhappy” to be embroiled in the political controversy.

“It has become extremely difficult for us,” Brown told the Sports Business Journal. “If you’re a national business, that means you’re selling to all consumers… and unfortunately, when you’re drawn into the political arena, people want you to take your side. I’ve never been put in a position where it’s, ‘OK, which side are you on? Left or right?’ This makes it difficult for a brand to want to attach itself to someone who could divide its consumer base.

Brown also spoke about his role in an op-ed for Newsweek.

“Running 200 miles an hour doesn’t give me much time to think about politics,” Brown wrote. “And even if I did, I always preferred the roar of the engine to the roar of my voice.”

“Let’s go to America,” Brown concluded in the op-ed.

Brown’s embrace for LGB may not be right for NASCAR. Earlier this year, Steve Phelps, president of NASCAR, said the organization did not want to be associated with the “Let’s go, Brandon” movement.

NASCAR claims it did not approve the sponsorship. Brown’s team claimed they had all the necessary approvals to go along with the announcement.

Phelps has previously said NASCAR will pursue actions against any illegal use of its trademarks on merchandise bearing the slogan, which has started to sprout.

Phelps has claimed that NASCAR respects the presidential office.

“Do we like that it kind of started with NASCAR and then it’s gaining ground elsewhere? No, we’re not happy with that, ”said Phelps.
