Crypto Street in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Crypto became mainstream during the pandemic, and one restaurant in Clearwater Beach serves all the good stuff with crypto-themed names.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Ricardo Varona, owner of Crypto Street restaurant, opened the restaurant to do something unexpected.

The restaurant said it finally accepted its first Bitcoin transaction in November. “Our first Bitcoin transaction accepted and processed! Thank you for coming and paving the way for payment with cryptocurrency! A Facebook post said.

The menu at Crypto Street restaurant is full of American and Cuban dishes named after digital currency like “Crypto Cuban”, “Blockchain Club”, “Dogedog” and “Bitcoinana Split”.

“With the names, I used some of the well-known cryptos and the cryptos that I love as inspiration,” Varona told The Times.

Find the Crypto Street Restaurant on the ground floor of the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel at 309 Coronado Dr. The restaurant is open Sunday 11 am-7pm and Wednesday-Saturday 11 am-8pm.
