6 Crypto Coins increase up to 1314% in one day. Crypto market in green

Cryptocurrency Update: The global cryptocurrency market on Saturday January 15th saw a decent increase in value after steadily declining for days. The market capitalization of the cryptocurrency stood at $2.06 trillion, according to data from global crypto-tracking website CoinMarketCap. This has increased by 2.75% in the last 24 hours. Global crypto volume, however, dropped significantly over the past day as more traders held on to their coins. The total volume of coins traded stood at $75.44 billion in the last day. That’s up 27.28% in the past 24 hours, according to the data. The volume of all stablecoins was $60.36 billion, or 80.01% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume.

The crypto market has been down for quite some time now, bumping up against the discovery of the Omicron variant as investors stayed away. Global traders shunned risky assets amid the Omicron scare and instead invested in safer assets. On Saturday however, all of the top 10 cryptocurrencies except Tether and USD rose in value, fueling the rise in the cryptocurrency’s total market capitalization. Major crypto coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance, Polkadot, Cardano and others saw their prices increase.

One unit of Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market price, rose to $43,065.58. This is up 2.44% in the past 24 hours and 2.79% in the past seven days, according to global crypto tracking website CoinMarketCap. “Bitcoin dominance is currently at 40.09%, down 0.02% on the day,” the platform mentioned in a note on its website.

Ether, the largest altcoin in the world, also rose during the day, surpassing the $3,300 mark. A coin of Ether or Ethereum was priced at $3,320.90 at the time of writing, according to the data. This has increased by 3.42% in the last 24 hours and by 3.16% in the last seven days.

Megatech became the top crypto pack winner on Monday. In the last 24 hours, the value of a coin has increased by 1,314.69%. One token was priced at $0.01981, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Dogelana and NDN Link were the other two winners who held the next top spots of the day.
