Crypto Research Firm Delphi Digital: Eye Escape from Ethereum Rival Fantom ($FTM)

[ad_1]

On Friday, January 14, crypto research startup Delphi Digital looked at the performance of $FTM against $ETH and $USDT over the past six months.

The research firm pointed out that:

$FTM’s price action suggests it is about to break out. Although TVLs across crypto have been flat, Fantoms TVL is up 20% from the previous week.

On January 12, Fantom Foundation celebrated a milestone:

Here is a short introduction from the Fantom team to this exciting crypto project:

Fantom is a high performance, scalable and secure smart contract platform. It is designed to overcome the limitations of previous generation blockchain platforms. Fantom is permissionless, decentralized and open source. Lachesis, its revolutionary aBFT consensus mechanism, allows Fantom to be much faster and cheaper than older technologies, while being extremely secure.

In November 2021, crypto analyst and influencer Guy, who hosts the popular YouTube channel Coin Bureau, posted a YouTube video in which he called Fantoms’ average market cap attractive to new investors and said the fundamentals projects are significantly stronger than other cryptoassets on the market.

As reported by The Daily Hodl, Guy said:

FTM tokenomics are also very robust. All FTM coins awarded to early investors, founders and advisors of Fantoms finished being acquired last November.

Guy went on to explain the process of staking networks, saying that all new $FTM coins coming to market are generated as staking rewards. The host said the continued strike would introduce a small amount of selling pressure that would be easily offset by demand from the platforms’ user base and investors.

The Coin Bureaus host also noted that the Fantom Foundation offers a massive development fund, with funds being invested monthly by developers for a year.

According to Guy, more than half of the circulating supply of Fantoms is staked:

And I’m sure most of it is staked for more than the bare minimum. This reduction in available supply further increases the ability of FTMs to fly.

According to data from CryptoCompare, currently (as of 17:23 UTC Jan 15), $FTM is trading around $2.891, down 1.77% in the past 24 hours.
