Bitcoin and Ether gained in Asian trading on Tuesday afternoon, with Dogecoin leading the declines among the top 10 non-stable cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin was up 0.24% in the past 24 hours and traded at US$16,785 as of 4:30 p.m. in Hong Kong, and Ether was down 2.07% at US$1,207, according to CoinMarketCap.
Dogecoin was down 4.95% to $0.07399, down 16.44% in the past seven days. Twitter CEO Elon Musk did not immediately name his successor after Twitter users voted to oust him as chief executive.
Litecoin gained 2.68% to US$64.94, down 13.79% over the past seven days. The hash rate of Litcoins has increased by around 9% in seven days.
BNB rose 0.32% to US$247.71. Bankrupt crypto lender Voyager said Monday it had accepted an offer from Binance.US for assets Voyager valued at $1.022 billion. On the same day, Reuters published a special report on a lack of clarity around Binances’ financial information.
Asian stock markets fell after Wall Street’s losses overnight. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 2.46%, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.07% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.33%.
In a jolt in global markets, the Bank of Japan unexpectedly widened its 10-year Japanese government bond yield range from 25 basis points to 50 basis points.
