Starting today, you can buy crypto on the Uniswap web app using a credit card, debit card, or bank transfer at the best rates on the web3. Convert fiat to crypto on the Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum mainnet, and start trading in minutes!
Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) are the safest way to trade digital assets compared to their centralized counterparts. With self-custodial wallets, permissionless and immutable protocols, and a transparent public ledger, DEXs have built-in user protections. However, a major barrier to DeFi adoption has been the onboarding experience, forcing users to store their CEX for convenience, despite the risks.
You can now access DeFi directly with the Uniswap web app and buy crypto on our web app using any card or bank transfer in over 160 countries with our premier partner, MoonPay. We give you the best experience on the Fiat ramp – no USDC spread fees, the lowest processing fees on the market, and instant access!

Do I need to verify my identity with MoonPay?
To buy crypto with a card or bank account, you will need to follow MoonPay’s KYC/AML policy. You do not need to verify your identity to use the Uniswap protocol, only when purchasing crypto through MoonPay. MoonPay does not share customer data with Uniswap Labs. Uniswap Labs does not collect or store financial data such as credit card, debit card and banking information, nor personal data such as first name, last name, postal address, date of birth, email address and IP address.
What are the fees?
We have some of the lowest prices on the market:
No Minimum Fee – Payment processors often charge a minimum fee regardless of the size of the purchase. Our minimum fee is zero!
No spread on USDC – Payment processors quote a token price slightly above the market rate. This commission is called a “spread” and contributes to their margins. We have zero spread for USDC purchases!
Low spread and processing fees – We have also negotiated low spread and processing fees on all supported currencies.
How much crypto can I buy?
Minimum – Many supported cryptocurrencies have a minimum purchase size of $15 or the equivalent in most local currencies. ETH, USDC, USDT, and DAI have varying minimum purchase sizes based on market conditions.
Maximum – Purchase limits depend on the cryptocurrency you are buying and the fiat currency you are using. Notably, USDC has an upper limit of 10,000 on Arbitrum and Optimism while popular fiat currencies are capped at 12,000 USD, GBP at 9,000, EUR at 10,000 and CAD at 16,000.
Your payment provider may place additional limits on the size of your purchase. We recommend bank transfer or debit cards. Note that the minimum and maximum purchase sizes may change according to MoonPay policies.
When will the purchased crypto arrive in my wallet?
Your purchases will be available in your wallet within minutes, although the exact payment method determines the transfer time. Learn more about the MoonPay Help Center.
Can I send the crypto back to my bank account?
Not yet. We are working on the integration of an exit ramp. Today, you can sell using the MoonPay website or any other outlet platform.
