The Alpena News report remained relatively silent on the FTX cryptocurrency scandal led by Sam Bankman-Fried, the Democratic Party’s second largest donor of 2022. Judd Garrett in his December 14, 2022 essay Objectivity is the Objective had next to say about the media and the FTX scandal.

“Did anyone in the media ask Sam Bankman-Fried a tough question? Isn’t that a bit like how we treat our current president? How many mainstream media reporters ask Joe Biden a tough question? How many mainstream media reporters are challenging his policy positions on open borders, inflation, our supply chain crisis, gas prices, crime, fentanyl? How many mainstream media reporters have asked Joe Biden about his illegal business dealings in Ukraine and China using his son Hunter as a proxy to sell his influence? No one in the mainstream media is asking any of these questions because they think they don’t have to because being a Democrat and a Liberal, Joe Biden is virtuous and incorruptible.

There is no way in their minds that someone with a “D” next to their name could do anything dishonest, corrupt or unethical. So you get completely uncurious media when a Democrat wins the presidency and attacking media completely out of control to the point of fabricating scandals when a Republican is president. In the end, we get a completely distorted country because our media and all other major institutions have been completely infected with leftist politics. And no country can bear when it becomes so unbalanced.
