Mark Cuban Calls Gold Investors “Dumb” As He Defends Bitcoin

He also defended Bitcoin as investors began to feel pessimistic about its future due to the prolonged bear market. Mark Cuban Defends Bitcoin, Says Gold Investors Are “Dumb”

In a Club Random podcast, Mark Cuban spoke with Bill Maher, the show’s host. Bill said he was “very anti-Bitcoin” and believed in the value of gold. However, Mark Cuban was of the opposite idea. He said he wanted Bitcoin to go much lower so he could buy even more of it. Mark also said that those who hold gold are “idiots as f**k”.

Bill Maher responded to Mark’s comment by saying gold is not going anywhere. And he’s actually right because it’s been around for thousands of years now. Maher also said that gold is a hedge against everything. Mark countered by saying that gold is not a hedge against anything, but it is the value that is stored in the precious metal. And the same goes for Bitcoin.

He then went on to say that people perceive gold to have value, and it does, and the same goes for the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. However, most people argue that gold physically exists, which makes sense, but when you invest in gold, you don’t necessarily have to physically own it. And if we’re assuming you have it, it’s not that hard for someone to beat you up and steal it, Mark says.

He also talked about gold investments in the past. He said before that he hates gold and it’s a religion.

The collapse of the crypto exchange has sent spurs throughout the industry. And Mark also has his opinions on the same subject. Mark said he was unsure of the specifics, but if he had been in SBF’s shoes he would have been scared of going to jail for a long time. He also said that after talking with SBF, he never thought he was doing something like this.
