Sam Bankman-Fried said on Friday that he was not the one who transferred funds from multiple Alameda Research-linked crypto wallets.

“None of these are me. I am not and could not move any of these funds; I no longer have access to them,” Bankman-Fried said on Twitter.

His tweet responded to a story in Cointelegraph that Alameda-associated wallets moved funds just days after Bankman-Fried was released on a $250 million bond, raising suspicion in the crypto community.

The report also states that several dormant Alameda wallets traded ether for the stablecoin Tether before moving tokens into mixers.

Several Twitter commenters cited public blockchain data that showed Alameda wallets eventually swapped the tokens for bitcoin.

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, Alameda sold around $1.7 million worth of cryptocurrencies between Wednesday and Thursday.

“If it was a rogue employee or some sort of infraction, that was pretty broad,” Arkham tweeted.

The sales come as creditors, customers and suppliers of Bankman-Fried businesses fight to be the first to be paid in the event of bankruptcy.

Alameda Research currently holds $112 million worth of cryptocurrencies, down from $140 million held in November.

Meanwhile, Bankman-Fried is under house arrest in California after being charged with fraud for mishandling client funds in conjunction with the collapse of FTX.

He is due in federal court in New York on January 3 and has denied criminal liability since stepping down as CEO of FTX last month.
