Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki says he is buying more Bitcoin (BTC) at current prices as the king of crypto trades in the depths of the bear market.
In a tweet to his 2.3 million followers, the best-selling author explains his thesis behind investing in Bitcoin.
Kiyosaki says that unlike altcoins, Bitcoin will likely be able to dodge the hammer of regulators if they decide to clamp down on regulators.
“Q: Do you invest in Bitcoin? A: Yes, I am. I am very excited about Bitcoin. Why? Because Bitcoin is classified as a commodity just like gold, silver and oil. Most crypto tokens are classified as security and SEC [U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission] regulation will crush most of them. I buy more [BTC].”
The BTC bull is also bullish on the precious metals markets. He predicts rallies for gold and silver in 2023, calling for a rise of 108% and 213%, respectively, potentially triggered by a stock market crash.
“I became a gold bug in 1972. I was a navy pilot in Vietnam flying behind enemy lines hoping to buy discounted gold because the mine was in the hands of the enemy. I discovered that the price of gold was the same all over the world. I predict that silver will rise to $75 and gold to $3,800 in 2023…
I became a silver nut in 1964. I was looking at a penny and saw a copper tint around the rim. I was only 17, but I knew we were being fooled with our money. I didn’t know then that the US government had violated the Greshams law which states that counterfeit money drives out gold and silver.
