Deep-pocketed crypto investors are suddenly moving hundreds of millions of dollars from Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and three other altcoins.

New data from whale survey platform Whale Alert reveals that wealthy traders moved over $315 million from the crypto king in two separate trades.

The first transaction took place on January 4 when a whale moved 9,251 BTC worth approximately $155 million at the time of writing from one unknown wallet to another, while the second transaction took took place yesterday when a whale moved 15,477 BTC worth over $260,891,533 at the time of writing from an unknown wallet. to another.

Moving on to the leading smart contract platform ETH, Whale Alert finds that a whale has moved 32,236 ETH worth $40,355,154 at the time of writing from an unknown wallet to the main smart contract platform. U.S.-based crypto exchange Coinbase on January 5.

Other crypto assets on Whale Alert’s radar include XRP, the asset used to operate Ripple Labs’ payment platform, layer 2 scaling solution Polygon (MATIC), and exchange protocol decentralized (DEX) Curve Finance (CRV).
