Logan, what are you most looking forward to from the Formula 1 Crytpo.com Miami 2023 Grand Prix?
I’m excited to be driving the track for the first time as I haven’t even driven this circuit on the simulator yet so it’s still a bit unfamiliar to me. Obviously this is my home race so it will be super special as I have lots of family and friends here. I just think the whole experience will be great.
What is your favorite racing memory so far in your career?
My favorite racing memory is definitely Macau in 2019. It was one of the coolest races I’ve ever done, starting sixth and getting a podium. I hope to be able to go back there at some point
Why did you choose number two for your race car?
Good question. My other favorite numbers have been taken! Number three is my favorite but it was banned so I had a good season in 2018 with 2 so hopefully we can continue like this.
What’s your favorite track you’ve raced on so far?
My favorite circuit is definitely Silverstone in the UK. Every time I go it’s always a very nice and good weekend. I take every chance I get to go around this track.
What is your favorite meal before the race?
I like to keep it relatively light, so some protein and some carbs. So maybe penne pasta with tomato sauce and grilled chicken on top.
What song do you listen to before a race?
If I really need a good result, I have to say that Eminem’s Lose Yourself is always a great motivator!
Do you have any pre-race superstitions?
I wouldn’t say it was superstition but I have different colored underwear every day of the race weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Does it matter?!
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without on a race weekend?
That’s a good question, I guess I can’t leave without any of my racing stuff! Nothing major in particular except my Air Pods for listening to music. They are the key!
What’s your favorite place to eat in South Florida?
Oh wow. There’s a great Italian restaurant called Cafe Martorano in Fort Lauderdale, it’s a fun place to go.
What’s your favorite thing to do in South Florida?
The best thing to do is get in the water, get on a boat, hang on and get some sun. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
Who is your favorite Miami Dolphins player (past or present)?
I would say right now Tyreek Hill has gone crazy this year!
Are you excited to drive a Formula 1 race so close to home?
