Like MLK’s 1963 Lincoln Memorial Address, Bitcoin aims to be “the greatest manifestation of freedom” in the history of nations.

Issues identified by MLK as cause for grievance were segregation, discrimination, disenfranchisement, and alienation. It happened to African Americans in 1963 on the centennial of the Emancipation Proclamation ending slavery.

Bitcoin exists to solve these same problems that persist in the global financial system today. It’s interesting to wonder what MLK would think of technology if he were alive today.
