The world was shocked by the advent of AI due to its incredible efficiency. Today, AI-powered ChatGPT, an OpenAI creation, is known for its realistic answers to the trickiest questions. As ChatGPT can be used to write articles and poems and handle multiple tasks with high precision, many wonder about its use cases in the cryptocurrency market.
ChatGPT is designed to provide Pine scripts (code) compatible with the trading view, allowing traders to easily develop their own trading strategies with over 100 indicators to identify the trend of a specific digital asset, such as Bitcoin.
Here’s how ChatGPT responded to Bitcoin’s price?
ChatGPT made headlines in the crypto market as it became a hot sensation by providing a price prediction or technical analysis of a crypto asset. However, when the AI is asked for a market prediction, it vehemently refuses to provide trading guru advice and advises traders to invest at their own risk. However, AI can provide Pine scripts based on traders’ needs and can be added to the chart on the trading view to develop the best strategy.
Therefore, Coinpedia asked ChatGPT to generate a pin script to identify the current trend of BTC. According to ChatGPT, if the rate of change (ROC) of Bitcoin is above 0.05, it means an upward trend and vice versa. As Bitcoin’s ROC moves around 24, ChatGPT indicates an extreme uptrend in the BTC price chart.
However, the ChatGPT pine scripts are not yet compilable to work for trading, but you can practice preparing market analysis. Coinpedia extended its scope and experimented with ChatGPT analysis by asking to generate a script using RSI, Stochastic RSI and Simple Moving Averages (short and long).
With the given analysis of the platform, we compared it to the price of Bitcoin, and this hints at a downward correction to come as the stochastic RSI is trading above 80 and the RSI indicator -14 is >70. Therefore, ChatGPT advises to exit long positions as the current trend may cause downward volatility. Additionally, the smaShort breaks below the smaLong, which may again push Bitcoin below $20,000.
On the other hand, ChatGPT suggests going short if the RSI-14 drops and trading just above 50, keeping the stochastic RSI as before at 80. Traders can resume long positions if the Stochastic RSI and RSI-14 drop below. the level of 20 and 50, respectively, which means that Bitcoin must trade below $20,000.
