Crypto Price Today: Bitcoin Holds Nearly $23,700; Solana and BNB rise up to 6%

New Delhi: The cryptocurrency market was trading in the green on Monday. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 2% to hit $23,700, while Ethereum (ETH) was above the $1,600 level. BTC volume in the past 24 hours was around $25.72 billion, up 46.95% in the past 24 hours.

“BTC has gained 2% in the past 24 hours and is currently trading above the $23,600 level. If the bulls can hold BTC above the current level, the momentum may continue towards $24,000. USD and USD 25,000 soon. Volume is also high, indicating the strength of buyers in the market,” said Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex.

Other top crypto tokens were also trading higher. Solana increased by 6%. Polkadot Shiba Inu, Dogecoin and BNB were also trading with gains.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization traded around $1.07 trillion, up 1.54% in the past 24 hours.

Total DeFi volume is currently $3.59 billion, or 7.21% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume. The volume of all stablecoins is now $44.28 billion, or 88.98% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume.

The market capitalization of Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, hovered around $457.24 billion, with a dominance of around 42.47%, an increase of 0.18% on the day, according to CoinMarketCap.

“It looks like winter is over for the crypto market. With two major announcements set to approach this week (the national union budget and the US Fed’s FOMC meeting), the respective impact of the two can lead to a significant shift in the price levels of major cryptocurrencies, leading to a high chance of volatility, said Marc Despallieres, Director of Strategy and Trading at Vantage, “with the VDA segment in mind,” said he added.
