(Kitco News) – Coinbase is stepping up efforts to educate the American public about the benefits of blockchain technology with the launch of “Crypto: Moving America Forward,” a nationwide campaign to explain the role of cryptocurrencies as technology that will update the global financial system.

The campaign will kick off with a series of four ads featuring Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong that will run on popular Sunday programming, with a new chapter premiering each weekend. “With Wallet as a Service, users can create, access and restore their wallets using just a username and password, all built right into your app,” the exchange said in a tweet. “Leveraging Multi-Party Computing (MPC), wallets created with Wallet as a Service help protect user assets by securely dividing, encrypting, and distributing keys among multiple parties.”

The service’s launch on the mainnet also allows users to export their keys out of the platform at any time, meaning they always have full control of their assets, Conbase said.
