Cryptos attacked by the SEC also end up outside of Bakkt. death in the United States for these tokens?
Although there is still no decision, the effects on the markets are not long in coming. After Robinhood, Bakkt also intends to remove from its lists the cryptocurrencies that have been cited by the SEC in the recent complaints against Binance and Coinbase. Specifically, according to what has been reported by Fortune, it will be the removal of Solana, Cardano and Polygon.

The same ones that have been, among other things, removed by eToro for US clients (and not for European clients) and which in all likelihood will continue to experience significant difficulties trading in the US. Direct effects of an accusation that will still have to be proven in court, which for many has no solid foundations and yet has already caused significant economic damage even to small investors who had chosen these cryptocurrencies for their portfolio.

One more blow for Solana, Polygon and Cardano
Although it comes from an intermediary that cannot have a big impact on the market in general due to the volumes, it is still bad news for the cryptos involved. Bakkt has indeed announced the delisting of Cardano, Polygon and Solana following regulatory uncertainty due to recent SEC actions against the sector.
Although these are for the moment only allegations that will have to be brought before the courts and which will have to be debated at the highest level of American justice, several platforms have preferred to proceed with a delisting rather than running the risk of being prosecuted. in the future of the SEC.
However, having them removed now will not protect these intermediaries from what happened earlier today, although the SEC now seems to only cater to large and very large operators in the crypto sector. And there are all those risky intermediaries, starting with Robinhood, who have already done so for other sectors where it is possible to register with a clear and above all existing procedure, in reality demonstrating a desire to be compliant for all financial sectors.
What kind of consequences are we talking about for these three cryptocurrencies?
In reality, we should talk about all the cryptocurrencies that have been cited by the SEC in the last two complaints against Binance and Coinbase. From BNB via Cardano, Solana, Matic, but also Tron (included in another procedure). In the absence of an agreement, it will be increasingly difficult to find these cryptos on other platforms than the cryptos, at least in the States.
And logically this should contribute, at least collaterally, to a reduction in the volumes of these tokens, in particular from the general public who have used equally general solutions to obtain some exposure to these tokens.
From there, however, to think that it is a fatal blow for the sector passes clearly. And we urge everyone not to panic too much, which should have died down two weeks after the SEC called anyway.
