Australian Blockchain Week (ABW) 2023 is a five-day event from June 26-30, 2023 taking place in Australian cities for crypto enthusiasts. Sessions ranged from technology fundamentals to deep industry dives into the global implications of emerging technology.

Additionally, it will focus on a global regulatory framework for the crypto industry and what US digital asset regulation would look like. It will also explore questions on how to improve consumer protection and define the regulatory perimeter in Australia. ANZ Bank has become a pioneer in issuing bank-issued A$DC stablecoins. The National Australian Bank (NAB) has become the first bank to perform cross-border, multi-currency settlement in stablecoins. This step bypassed SWIFT, a huge step.
