Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain intelligence company, today announced on Twitter that it is launching the world’s first blockchain intelligence exchange.
A thirty-second promotional video informs the viewer that the platform will allow users to anonymously buy and sell information about the identity of any crypto wallet address via smart contracts.
A central feature of the platform is Intel bounties where those in need can offer money to knowledgeable blockchain analysts to dox (identify) the name or address of any crypto wallet owner.
Arkham says its new platform will bridge the gap between analysts on the one hand and traders, investors, journalists, researchers and protocols on the other.
The trailer also promises alpha and insights from elite on-chain researchers, implying that the information obtainable will include portfolio contents and detailed investment performance ratings of addresses.
Needless to say, Crypto Twitter had an absolute field day.
Arkham under fire
Twitter user and crypto enthusiast Capoordart (@poordart), whose biography describes himself as a commodities trader, coined the phrase dox-to-earn program to describe Arkham’s new quirk.
Another user who goes by the handle @farp_farp asked Arkham if the topic of kidnappings as a business comes up at their meetings.
The fart geek with the hilarious name the third [sic] went a darker step.
Mark Zeller, founder of an Aave DAO service provider initiative called Aave-Chan, posted a more restrained response, calling the idea a massive net negative.
A crypto developer and trader who tweets under @veH0rny is apparently into it.
User @DevDoSomething seemed impressed and even directed his followers to a waitlist sign-up page.
Finally, the proud holder of Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and Fantom @remy_bull spoke about Arkham and the new exchange in superlative terms.
Transactions on Arkham’s Intelligence Exchange will be done through the protocol’s native ARKM token. The initial token sale begins tomorrow and lasts for six days via Binance Launchpad, according to an announcement from Binance today.
Early adopters, however, are enjoying an airdrop in mid-summer, according to the project’s Twitter page.
Total supply is capped at one billion, of which 50,000 (5%) has been allocated to Binance for launch.
