On Wednesday, consumer price index inflation for June fell to its lowest level since March 2021 at 3%, well below economists’ average estimate of 3.1% and marking a substantial drop from to 4% in May. Meanwhile, the PPI inflation data also brought positive news to investors, with the PPI and core PPI rising just 0.1% in June. which is below the analyst consensus of 0.2%.
