Tron (TRX) Soars 8% Daily as Bitcoin Flatlines at $30,000 (Market Watch)

The last 24 hours in the cryptocurrency markets has seen the total capitalization increase by around $6 billion. In other words, not much happened. Some of the major coins are seeing still modest gains, but overall the trend remains largely contained.

Bitcoin remains undecided at $30,000 and unable to break out of this range, but let’s see how it all turned out.

BTC price fixed at $30,000

As you can clearly see from the chart below, the last 24 hours have not provided anything of substance when it comes to Bitcoin price in particular.

The cryptocurrency continues to flirt with $30,000, but neither side manages to gain control. The bulls failed to retake the level decisively, while the sellers are also unable to push the price towards another support zone.

For this, altcoins have also failed to capitalize on the stagnation of BTC. This is clearly reflected in Bitcoin’s dominance, the metric that tracks its share against that of the rest of the market. It has also remained stable at 46.6% over the past 24 hours.

TRON (TRX) skyrockets 8%, but that’s it

The heatmap below paints a green picture for the past day, but most of the gains are pretty negligible. For example, BNB, ADA, ETH, UNI, XMR, LINK and many other cryptocurrencies did not even rise by 1%.

The most obvious exception to this is TRONs TRX. The altcoin pumped 8% on the day, and it is one of the top coins among the top 100 coins by total market capitalization.

XDC Network (XDC) exploded some 15.5% on the day and is the cryptocurrency that gained the most in the last 24 hours. It is followed by Casper Networks CSPR and, you guessed it, TRX.

On the other hand, we have FLEX Coin (FLEX), which is down 14.6%. The rest of the market remains largely stable.
