Cow poop to counter the environmental impact
A company in Bury, an English town, may have just solved Elon Musk’s environmental issues regarding cryptocurrency mining. Manchester-based Easy Crypto Hunter (ECH) has invented crypto mining machines that can run on cow manure and help significantly reduce the environmental impact.
According to media reports, a process known as anaerobic digestion uses methane produced by the decomposition of cow manure and turns it into electricity by a large six-cylinder engine running at 500 rpm.
Microbes convert manure more and generate methane amid the lack of oxygen. This methane can be burned to generate heat and electricity, which would otherwise have acted as a powerful greenhouse gas when entering the atmosphere. The residual product can be used as a fertilizer.
Reports further mention that nearly two-thirds of the electricity generated by the anaerobic digester helps power the farm and trailer park while the rest powers mining rigs and specialized computers.
