Cassill has been involved in the crypto industry for several years and met Voyager CEO Steve Ehrlich at a conference two years ago where Ehrlich first pitched the idea.

Ehrlich said Cassill shares a common interest in cryptocurrency and believes in future adoption.

“Landon Cassill’s focus and determination on the race track is reflected in everything he does. Landon also shares our vision for widespread adoption of crypto, and we are proud to be the first company to secure major NASCAR sponsorship entirely with crypto.

Cassill said he has been investing in cryptocurrency for years and has seen significant gains helping him become more comfortable with the Voyager deal.

“There are a handful of pilots that are in crypto, but I’m probably one that’s been around for quite a long time, I’m pretty comfortable with how it works,” Cassill said. “Crypto platforms use a lot of social media and community building like marketing. Big companies haven’t done a lot of national ad campaigns, so for Voyager, launching a national ad campaign is a sign that the space is really starting. to diversify.

Cassill said he can use crypto in a variety of ways and he is unsure whether he will keep it, use it or sell it.

“I can trade it immediately before the market changes or hang in there as the market goes up or down, slice up a bit, pay my bills with it and keep the rest.”
