Bitcoin, from BTC to USD, rose 0.17% on Sunday. After falling 0.77% on Saturday, Bitcoin ended the week down 8.64% to $ 35,631.0.

A mixed start to the day saw Bitcoin hit a mid-morning high of $ 35,983.0 before reversing.

Below major resistance levels, Bitcoin slipped to midday intraday low at $ 33,411.0.

Bitcoin broke through the first major support level at $ 34,777 and the second major support level at $ 33,984.

Finding support in the afternoon, however, Bitcoin hit an intraday high of $ 36,226.4.

Below the first major resistance level at $ 36,405, Bitcoin retreated to end the day at levels below $ 36,000.

The short-term uptrend remained intact despite the latest pullback to $ 33,000. For bears, Bitcoin would need a sustained decline through the 62% FIB from $ 27,237 to form a short-term downtrend.

The rest of the pack

In the rest of the majors, it was a mixed day on Sunday.

Bitcoin Cash SV and Crypto.com Coin slipped 4.36% and 5.78% to reverse today’s trend.

It was a bullish day for the rest of the majors.

Chainlink rallied 6.79% to lead the way.

Cardanos ADA (+ 2.97%) and Ethereum (+ 3.59%) also found strong support.

Binance Coin (+ 1.53%), Litecoin (+ 1.50%), Polkadot (+ 1.75%) and Ripples XRP (+ 2.07%) trailed the lead.

It was also a mixed week for the majors, with the week ending June 20.

Polkadot weathered the week’s trend, up 2.62%.

It was, however, a bearish week for the rest of the majors, who joined Bitcoin in the red.

Ripples XRP slipped 12.32% to lead the way, with Ethereum and Litecoin falling 10.65% and 9.44% respectively.

However, Binance Coin (-7.35%), Bitcoin Cash SV (-8.95%), Cardanos ADA (-8.41%), Chainlink (-7.26%) and Crypto.com Coin (-7, 62%) also experienced difficulties.

During the week, the total crypto market peaked at $ 1,708 billion on Tuesday before dropping to $ 1,367 billion on Sunday. At the time of writing, the total market capitalization was $ 1.462 billion.

The story continues

Bitcoin dominance peaked at 46.26% on Wednesday before falling to a low of 45.04% on Sunday. At the time of writing this article, Bitcoin dominance stands at 45.25%.

This morning

As of this writing, Bitcoin was down 0.79% to $ 35,351.0. A mixed start to the day saw Bitcoin hit an early morning high of $ 35,832.0 before falling to $ 35,332.0.

Bitcoin left major support and resistance levels untested early on.

Elsewhere, it was a mixed start to the day.

Crypto.com Coin found early support, rising 2.40%.

It was a bearish start for the rest of the majors, however.

At the time of writing, Ripples XRP and Chainlink were down 1.38% and 1.33% respectively to lead the way.

For Bitcoin Day Ahead

Bitcoin should avoid the $ 35,090 pivot to bring into play the first major resistance level at $ 36,768.

Broad market support would be needed for Bitcoin to emerge from Sunday’s $ 36,226.4 high.

Barring a large scale crypto rally, the first major resistance level and resistance at $ 37,000 would likely cap any upside potential.

In the event of another protracted crypto rally, Bitcoin could test resistance at $ 39,000 before any pullbacks. The second major level is located at $ 37,905.

A fall through the pivot of $ 35,090 would bring into play the first major support level at $ 33,953.

Unless another extended sell-off on that day, Bitcoin is expected to avoid the second major support level at $ 32,274.
