As cryptocurrencies continue to gain wide acceptance, many countries around the world are investing in the crypto revolution, thus boosting global adoption.

Given this trend, a number of counties are vying for the status of the lead dog in terms of crypto trading and investment opportunities. To find out which regions of the world are accelerating, Crypto Head, a cryptocurrency analysis, advisory and information company, recently took a deep dive into its data, analyzing metrics like the number of crypto ATMs in a country as well as than their accessibility to the general population.

They also looked at the government’s legal position on the ownership of cryptocurrencies as well as where they can be used in banks. Finally, an evaluation of online research was carried out to determine the level of interest in cryptocurrencies in various countries.

Finally, interest in cryptocurrencies is what drives them, and therefore the number of online searches and their increase over the past year is a good indicator of the growing interest in each country.

Although ownership of cryptocurrencies is allowed in Canada, it cannot be used in banks and is the only country in the top 10 that does not achieve a full legislative score.

Cyprus is the only country that does not have a single top 10 crypto ATM.

Although Romania ranks 33rd, it has seen the biggest increase in crypto searches, from 34,200 to 147,500 between 2019 and 2020, an increase of 331%.

“Some interesting findings from our Crypto Ready Index include the recent increase in interest in cryptocurrency from tax havens like Cyprus, Gibraltar and the Cayman Islands. Our study found that these locations are among the top four countries that researched crypto between 2020/2021. “

“Our research also found that the United States is the most consumer-ready cryptocurrency, even though the government has been slow with regulatory clarity over the past few years, which has actually led most crypto activities abroad. “
