Jay-Z’s entertainment company Roc Nation buys Sensorium’s Metaverse crypto tokens – blockchain bitcoin news

The full-service entertainment company founded by influential hip-hop artist Jay-Z, Roc Nation, revealed on Wednesday that the company had purchased tokens from the Sensorium Corporation. The tokens purchased by Roc Nation are called senso (SENSO), the currency on the platform of Sensorium Galaxy, an entertainment-focused metaverse that merges cryptocurrencies with virtual reality (VR).

The Roc Nation company founded by Jay-Z is a company specializing in entertainment products and services such as talent acquisition, clothing, publishing, sports and management. Now the company is getting involved in digital currencies as Roc Nation revealed the purchase of senso tokens (SENSO), the native currency of the Metaverse attached to Sensorium Galaxy.

Currently, Sensorium metaverse offers a demo. “The Sensorium spacecraft tech demo provides a preview of the future Sensorium galaxy lobby, where the virtual reality experience and social events will begin,” the website explains. “This demo is not representative of the final appearance.”

Sensorium Corporation, the creators of the metaverse, mixed blockchain technology with VR, and the project just released “Prism,” one of the first worlds of the Sensorium metaverse. Visitors to Prism can participate in music festivals, concerts, and play mini-games with the chance to see artists like David Guetta and Armin van Buuren.

Sensorium Corporation plans to launch the next metaverse world called “Motion,” which would include an underwater metaverse experience. “Let your movements become your language,” says the description of the Sensorium Motion world. “Connect with your senses through mindfulness and exciting dance performances in an underwater space. Immerse yourself in this mystical land to discover deep connections made possible by pure movement.

Roc Nation’s Senso token purchase announcement on Wednesday explains that the company is taking action for the future. Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez explained that the entertainment company wanted its artists to be included in Sensorium Galaxy.

According to the developers of the project, the game’s metaverse currency called senso will be able to be used for many transactions in the online world. Senso tokens can purchase concert tickets, upgrade features, issue personalized non-fungible (NFT) tokens, and subscribe to premium content.

The Sensorium Galaxy Prism is in closed beta and the public launch is scheduled for the end of the year. “[Prism] is located at the epicenter of SG, [Prism] is the world of music.
