Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Says Bitcoin is a ‘Mathematical Miracle’

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is a bitcoin fan and has brought up the subject many times over the years. In August 2018, Wozniak revealed that he was participating in a crypto startup and praised bitcoin.

“It’s so independent,” Wozniak said at the time. “It’s a bit like the Internet when it was brand new… I was amazed at the technology behind it,” Wozniak added. Still months before the internet comparison, Wozniak told an audience at the Nordic Business Forum in Sweden that he was not obsessed with bitcoin either.

“I had bitcoin to experiment with and when it skyrocketed I said, ‘I don’t want to become one of those people who looks at it and looks at it and cares about the numbers,” “Wozniak said. at the time.

Speaking at the Talent Land Jalisco 2021 event this week, Wozniak had a similar vision and stressed that he does not invest in bitcoin. Although he did not invest in bitcoin, Wozniak said the main cryptocurrency is still a very deep invention. Wozniak added:

Steve Wozniak also owns a cryptocurrency named after him called WOZX and the crypto asset was developed by the Efforce team and Wozniak. WOZX was developed “as an energy saving token to enable contributors to the Effort platform to benefit from the energy savings generated by efficiency projects around the world”.

WOZX is currently trading for 0.00002146 BTC or around $ 0.719 per unit at the time of writing. Friday’s market cap is hovering above $ 82 million and has been making gains of late. Two-week statistics recorded at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Friday show WOZX gained 43.3% in two weeks and 14.0% in one month.
