The Las Vegas Strip has a new hotel: the $ 4.3 billion Las Vegas Resorts World. Resorts World offers cutting-edge amenities like “cashless betting” and partnerships with Grubhub and Gemini. The hotel was developed by Genting Group, based in Malaysia, and its grand opening could not have come at a more fortuitous time as people start to travel again.

“A whole new Las Vegas opening like Resorts World can increase the number of visits,” Barry Jonas, managing director of Truist Securities, told Katie Young and Contessa Brewer for CNBC. “As many customers who wish to test the new property also like to visit several properties during their stay.”

Any Las Vegas enthusiast will know that a Las Vegas Strip hotel that is popular with everyone has to offer plenty of dining, gambling, pool and drink options.

Fortunately, Resorts World offers all four, often with a tech twist.

Behind the flashy Resorts World brand hides a well-known hotel company: Hilton.

In February 2020, the hospitality giant partnered with Resorts World Las Vegas to introduce three Hilton brands to the resort.

The three Hilton brands – Hilton Hotel and Resorts, LXR and Conrad – are appearing in the 3,500-room hotel.

The hotel has 236 rooms in Hilton’s luxury segment, LXR.

Guests staying in these rooms will have their own entrance and lobby, as well as upgraded rooms, suites and villas ranging from 550 square feet to 7,000 square feet.

Then there’s the Conrad segment, which has 1,496 rooms and suites ranging from 550 square feet to 2,800 square feet.

Finally, the majority of rooms – 1,774, to be exact – consist of “Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World” rooms ranging from 400 square feet to 3,300 square feet.

Besides Hilton, Resorts World has a long list of partnerships with recognizable names, such as the Kardashian-Jenner family in the form of a Kardashian Kloset pop-up, the family’s online clothing and accessories resale site. .

Resorts World also has a 70,000 square foot two-story shopping center for customers requiring retail therapy.

Along with the Kardashians and Hilton family partnerships, the hotel also works with the Grubhub food ordering and delivery platform.

Customers can use the Grubhub app or scan Grubhub QR codes located throughout the resort to order food or retail items.

But that’s not the only avant-garde feature of the modern hotel.

It’s 2021, so of course Resorts World has cryptocurrency capabilities.

Resorts World has partnered with Gemini – a cryptocurrency platform founded by Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss – to turn the property into “one of the most crypto-friendly resorts on the Las Vegas Strip,” according to one Press release.

Like more modern hotels, Resorts World also uses mobile check-ins, an artificial intelligence concierge, and digital keys.

The resort even has a tunnel that connects it to the Las Vegas Convention Center via Tesla cars.

Now let’s take a look at the Theater at Resorts World, which can accommodate 5,000 fans of live shows or convention attendees.

The theater is home to one of the largest stages on the Vegas Strip, according to the resort.

In total, the stage spans 64 feet deep and 196 feet wide, for a total of 13,550 square feet.

Big theater headliners so far are expected to include stars like Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion and Luke Bryan.

The property will also have 250,000 square feet of meeting space and ballrooms for people traveling to Sin City for business purposes only.

Let’s start with Famous Foods Street Eats, a 24,000 square foot food hall with 16 stalls. Several of these stalls include Asian-inspired options and restaurants with Michelin Plate or Bib Gourmand recognition.

Resorts World also has several bars, including Starlight on 66 with city views, the Dawg House Saloon and Sportsbook transplanted to Nashville, and “Las Vegas’ most technologically advanced nightclub,” the Zouk Nightclub.

There will even be a Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge before the champagne with live music and DJs.

Like the Theater at Resorts World, Zouk Nightclub and the hotel’s other club, Ayu Dayclub, will have headliners or recognizable residents like Zedd, Tiësto, Jack Harlow, and Madison Beer.

Now on to the casino. The 117,000 square foot space is filled with all the classic gaming options, such as 1,400 slots, 30 table poker and 117 table games.
