Looking for a ridiculously cute but decidedly unscientific way to invest your money? Meet Mr. Goxx, the world’s first streaming crypto trading hamster on Twitch.
Every night, advice-hungry traders can tune in to watch Mr. Goxx randomly buy and sell real cryptocurrencies live from his office in Germany.
Even if you don’t succeed, he’s there for you: Every time he buys or sells any of the 30 or so cryptocurrencies, a post is sent to his Reddit and Twitter pages, which means you don’t never miss an opportunity to trade like a rodent.
Obviously, and rightly so, each of these posts comes with a warning about the serious financial losses that could arise from imitating Pomp to face pocket transactions.

Indeed, Mr. Goxx’s portfolio is trading at a loss. By Sunday night, he had lost 1.48 ($ 1.7) on his wallet, having made a total of 65 trades in his crypto career to date.
It might not be Wall Street, but it is home. His office wheel and tunnels – or “Goxx Box” – are connected to a computer that executes transactions based on its movements. Running on the intention wheel selects the cryptocurrency it will trade with. Then, going through one of the two “decision tunnels” to buy or sell the crypt. The Goxx Box is connected to a minicomputer that runs software to facilitate trade

Speaking to Protos, Mr. Goxx’s human business partner clarified a few details about how trades work:
“Currently, purchase amounts are hard-coded to 20 ($ 24). Mr. Goxx is able to buy increments by going through the tunnel multiple times without entering the wheel and there is a 20 second cool-down time after triggering.
“There are plans to give Mr. Goxx more control and to intentionally let him choose how much to buy if interest in his channel continues to grow.”
Mr Goxx expands his portfolio and his audience
Since his last visit to the office, the rodent has held 11 cryptos, including DOGE, LINK and XLM. Currently, TRX is its largest stake with just over 85 ($ 100) in Justin Suns cryptocurrency.
It is highly likely that Mr. Goxx is completely unaware of what is going on. Still, he gets good numbers.
Its early streams drew in double-digit viewers, but after a bit of press attention, some shows are drawing in the thousands.
For now, Goxx Capital is a one-man operation with Mr. Goxx as CEO. But if its luck in the markets improves, we might see this crypto hamster grow into a crypto whale.
