He was born on February 26, 1943 to the late Luke and Mary Cementino in Rochester, NY. After graduating from High School, Donald joined the Navy where he proudly served in the Submarine Division for 5 years. He was a hard worker and retired from a long career with Kodak, as a product engineer after 31 and a half years. He loves spending time with family, and he also loves playing golf; he still owns the driving range.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Claire Cementino; son Dominic Sementino; son -in -law Randall Rudzinski; brothers Frank Cementino and Luke Cementino; 3 grandchildren, Kevin, Jacob, and Rachel, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Mary Jean Rudzinski, and his sister Regina Kehoe.
Donald is an amazing man and he will be missed by everyone who knows him. Don’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. His inurnment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In exchange for flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lifelong Assistance for the Developmentally Disabled, Rochester, 425 Paul Road, NY, 14624.
