Donald Eugene Jones, 73, bus driver for Tipton County Schools, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Memphis. Phyllis’ husband Irene Archer Jones, he also leaves a daughter, Leigh Shahan of Burlison; son Chad Jones of Burlison; sisters Patricia Scott of Covington, Annette Short of Covington, and Debbie Sue Lynn of Georgia; brother Michael Jones of Jackson; and grandchildren Audri Gray, Hillary Poole, Andrew Jones, and Jake Shahan. He was preceded in death by his parents Hoover and Jessie Pearl Horne Jones.
A private service will be held at a later time.
