The Trump camp sent out two emails on Aug. 4 asking supporters to ride carrying red and gold cards, which look like credit cards and bear the former president’s signature.

“The card you choose will be carried by Patriots across the country. They will be a sign of your dedicated support of our movement to Save AMERICA, and I place my full trust in you,” Trump wrote in the first email .

The Trump team sent out a follow-up email that night, which read: “We will be launching our Official Trump Cards, which will be designated for President Trump’s MOST STRONG supporter.”

“We recently met the President at his Florida office and showed him four designs,” the email continued. “We originally planned to release only one design, but when President Trump saw the cards on his desk, he said, ‘They’re beautiful. We have to let the American People decide – they ALWAYS know!'”

The Trump camp does not outline exactly what is entitled to carry a “Trump Card.” Clicking on the link to vote for a favorite design brings the user to a fundraising page. The Trump team did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.

The former president’s “Trump Card” pitch to voters is the latest on his campaign’s list of fundraising wares. In an email on July 26, Trump’s campaign announced that they were selling Trump’s signed photos for $ 45.

Trump has hinted that he could run for president in 2024.

Journalist Michael Wolff, the author of three books about Trump, told Insider that he thinks the former president “didn’t know yet” that he lost the election last year.
