Donald Trump’s pathetic digging into Megan Rapinoe would be ridiculous if it weren’t so sad

Former president Donald Trump tried to burn Megan Rapinoe and the “wokesters” on the U.S. women’s soccer team after they won bronze at the Olympics and it failed miserably.

Trump released a bizarre statement attacking the Olympic team after they beat Australia to win a bronze medal on Thursday (5 August). The rant included claiming the team would have won gold if it hadn’t been led by “Leftist Maniacs” and “awakened” individuals.

“If our soccer team, led by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, hadn’t woken up, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze,” Trump said, theIndependentreported.

“Woke means you lose, everyone woke up bad and our soccer team definitely has.”

The man who lost the last presidential election also criticized the US women’s national team (USWNT) for kneeling before the Tokyo Olympics games.

According to Yahoo Sports, the USWNT and other teams knelt before starting to pay attention to racism and other forms of discrimination. They stood for the national anthem.

Trump also claimed that the U.S. could “start winning” games if officials replaced “wokesters” with “Patriots” who he thinks are better players than the World Cup -winning team.

She ended her weird rage by uniting one of the USWNT players Megan Rapinoe, and her gorgeous hair color.

“The woman with purple hair is playing too much and spending too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!” Trump said.

Rapinoe’s ‘horrible’ performance included scoring twice along with a spectacular goal straight from a corner in Team USA’s 4-3 victory over Australia. US Soccer reported that the match was the highest scoring medal in the history of women’s soccer at the Olympics. It was also the USWNT’s sixth medal overall.

Needless to say, the internet doesn’t admire Donald Trump’s pathetic digging.

The fighting relationship between Donald Trump, USWNT and Megan Rapinoe is nothing new.

In comments published by Yahoo Sports in 2019, Rapinoe called himself a “walking protest when it comes to the Trump administration” because of “all my stances”. Rapinoe told the Guardian the same year that the USWNT was “everything [Trump] loves ”except“ we are very strong women ”.

He also hated her for declaring that he wouldn’t “go to the f ***** g White House” if the US won the World Cup in 2019. The USWNT won the competition in the summer and didn’t visit the White House and Trump following success.

Last month, Donald Trump tried to blame the USWNT’s shocking loss to Sweden at the Olympics with “awakism”, according to Insider. The former president told a crowd gathered in Arizona that “awakism makes you lose” and “breaks your mind” before claiming the USWNT is a “very good example” of such incidents.
