Donald G. Ford, 71, of Victory Avenue, Grafton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, around 12:05 a.m. at Stonerise Healthcare Center in Bridgeport. He was born on August 3, 1950 in Grafton, a son of the late Donald Floyd and Barbara Ann (Withers) Ford.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittney Donn Ford and girlfriend Branden A. Bennett and his son, Donald G. Bub Ford II and girlfriend Angeleia Mayle, all of Grafton; two families Laura D. Ice (Jeff), and Joseph Jenkins, of Tennessee; grandchildren, Taylor Spicer (Tyler), Dylan Ice, Joshua Ford, Paul Pyles IV, Hayden Ford, Trey Ford, Dominic Ford, Ava West, Lilly Ford and Sunny Ford; a sister, Linda A. Edwards and a brother, Robert Kevin Ford; ex-wife, guardian and companion Deborah S. (Poling) Ford; and many nephews.

Donnie graduated from Grafton High School with a Class of 1968, attended Fairmont State College, and then graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.

He has owned and operated the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton for 42 years, from 1979 to the present.

He is a member of the NFDA, WVFDA, the Lions Club, the Masonic Lodge # 15 AF & AM and the Taylor County Shrine Club. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grafton.

She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything and also makes crossword puzzles in newspapers. He enjoys golf in all its forms, including volunteering at the Doral Open in Miami for many years. She also loves people, lots of friends and a social butterfly, as Brittney calls her.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton, from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12, and from 2-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home. 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, officiated by Pastor Michel Boyer.

Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery will follow.

Mason services will be conducted at Grafton Lodge cemetery # 15 AF & AM
