The third installment of Donald Glovers Atlanta will air on FX starting in 2022

FXs hit-series Atlanta will return for seasons three and four, and according to network chairman John Landgraf fans shouldn’t wait any longer to see the show on their TV screens. During a presentation by the network Television Critics Association on Friday (Aug. 13), Landgraf revealed that the expected return of the Emmy award -winning series will come in early 2022.

We have not yet locked the scheduling for the third stage because it just ended the shooting especially in Europe, Landgraf said at the executive session. Its in post-production and it’s a long post-production process, and part of that is because they’re currently in production four seasons in Atlanta. All the scripts for that season were written, and I absolutely adore the scripts for both seasons.

The reason I can’t lock in a date today is its driving schedule and availability by Donald Glover and Hiro Morais and the length of the post, both for three seasons while in the process of making the fourth installment , he continued.
