Trump Just Said He Has No Idea Of ‘How Important A President Is’

Donald Trump admitted he had no idea how important a president is in a revealing interview on Tuesday.

Speaking to Sean Hannity on his show on Fox News, the former U.S. president who left office in January 2021 suggested he expect state officials to run the country instead of him.

While criticizing his predecessor Joe Biden, Trump said: We need a president who is respected. I never realized how important, frankly and it is a horrible thing to say how important a president is, the leader of this country. Although it may be run by bureaucracy, it does not. You need someone there that they will respect.

Trump’s comments followed a damning analysis of how Biden coped with the escalating crisis in Afghanistan that the Taliban took over the country only after the White House ordered U.S. troops to leave.

He said Bidens ’behavior was the biggest embarrassment in our country’s history even though Trump actually signed an agreement with the Taliban to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan in February 2020.

It was an agreement that Biden stood for, it was just delayed.

Trump’s remarks also follow claims that have spread throughout his presidency that he didn’t even bother reading his daily intelligence briefs.

The New York Times claimed that the then presidency even ignored his briefings warning him about the threat posed by the coronavirus novel to the US.

Officials told the newspaper that Trump would prefer to receive information from conservative media and friends.

Trumps four years in office have left deep divisions in the United States and he has built a massive following in this short period.

He continued to fight his loss in the November 2020 election to Democrat Biden, and still maintains that the public vote was rigged.

Trump’s claims even prompted his supporters to violently storm the Capitol on Jan. 6 in a bid that would disrupt the Electoral College vote count.

The Republican has not confirmed whether he will run for the presidency in 2024, due to overly complicated and unbelievable campaign finance laws.

He told the well -known Republican Hannity: I think you will be glad and many of our friends will be glad.
