Former prime minister John Howard said America’s departure from Afghanistan “leaves a lot to be desired.”
John Howard initially sent Australian troops to Afghanistan after 9/11.
Donald Trump criticized the retreat of American soldiers saying “he humiliated America”.
He told Ben Fordham that Mr. Trump “cannot escape blame”.
“He made the horrible mistake of saying that America would go before he ensured any kind of understanding or dealing with the Taliban.
“That’s a pretty ordinary way of dealing with a ruthless mob like this.”
