Donald Wayne Taylor, 82, of Keokuk, passed away on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at his home in Keokuk.

Donald was born on September 17, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Delbert and Edith (Carel) Taylor. On July 6, 1965, he was united in marriage to Nancy Davis in Keokuk, Iowa. He was preceded in death on July 20, 2017.

Donald has worked as a Union Laborer in the tri-state area for many years, working on several large projects throughout the area. He was a member of Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk, and a former member of the Faith Assembly of God in Hamilton for many years. Donald enjoyed the great outdoors, and spent his free time hunting and fishing for mushrooms. She is a talented worker, creating the custom Native American knives and jewelry that everyone desires. She remained active in walking her beloved companion dog Tanner, and reading her Bible daily. Donald loves playing cards with his family and friends, and always plays to win. Donald is proud of his country in the United States Navy, receiving his honorable discharge.

Donald is survived by two daughters: Pam (Byron) Keefe of Muscatine, Iowa, and Teresa (Rick) Harness of Lima, Illinois; his honored son Jason (Christina) Scott of Santa Clarita, California; fourteen grandchildren: Patrick, Andrew, Leah, Christian, Grace, Drey, Ryan, Logan, William, Faith, Steven, Jerad, Cody and Kaine; four great -grandchildren: Chase, Sebastian, Lilian and Jaden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donald was preceded by the death of his parents; his wife Nancy; and two siblings: Raymond and Jimmy.

Living Donalds will be celebrated at a memorial at 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk. The visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 2 to 3:30 pm directly before the service.
