Since leaving office, Trump-endorsed candidates have won a primary and a special election. They lost zero primaries and a special election.

Ohio’s 15th Congressional District: Trump-sponsored Mike Carey won the Republican primary for Ohio’s 15th Congressional District on Aug. 3. He earned 37 percent of the vote, nearly three times in the volume of Jeff LaRe, his closest opponent.

Special Election:

Louisiana 5th Congressional District: Trump-nominated Julia Letlow-who took over a seat left vacant by her husband Luke Letlow, after she died in COVID-19-won the primary election on March 20, 2021.
