Donald D. Swan
FISHERS – Donald D. Swan, 69, of Fishers, died Aug. 17, 2021. He was born Feb. 11, 1952 in Vincennes, IN, to the late Joseph and Betty Swan. Don graduated from Honey Creek High School, Terre Haute; and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from ISU. He married Rita R. Borst, and began his career as a CPA. Don is currently Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Pinnacle Oil Holdings. Don is a longtime member of East 91st Street Christian Church. He enjoys playing golf, IU football and basketball, watching the Indianapolis Colts, but most importantly spending time with family and watching his grandchildren’s school events and sports. Don is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Rita Swan; daughters, Sara Ergulec (Somer) and Emily Ehrgott (Justin); grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Asher, Nash and Jude; siblings, Larry (Dixie), Rick (Sheri) and Ron (Merilyn) Swan; and many nephews. The visit is Monday, Aug. 23, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service of 6:00 pm at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Rd.
