Donald Rex Green
TERRE HAute – Donald Rex Green, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at his residence. He is a retired electrical supervisor for the Amax Coal Company. Donald was born on August 21, 1937 in Somerville, Indiana to Basil and Mary (Lecoq) Green. He is survived by his wife Janice Kay (Gaines) Green; daughter, Melanie Susan Haber (David); son, Robert Thomas Green (Phyllis); sister, Carol Jean Rollo (Norma Head); brother, Alva Green; grandchildren, Amanda, Robert A., Luke, Jacob, Caleb, Mykala, Matthew, Harrington David Rex, Sara Bethany Victoria, and Elizabeth Alexandra Alina; and three great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dawn Michele Reynolds; and son, Donald Rex Green II. Donald is a U.S. Army veteran. He is a member of Northside Church of Christ and he enjoys tinkering with electronics. The visit will be Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with Brother Mike Ferris who oversees.
