But have you seen or heard all of Donald Trump’s special commentary from the Triller Fight Club Holyfield vs. Belfort event?

Triller stunned the world of combat sports when they announced a week before the event that they had secured the 45th president of the United States for a special commentary shootout for their September 11 pay-per-view event in Florida. Many at first thought this must be a prank or a joke, but no … Donald Trump and his son Don Jr. actually showed up (and handed out checks for millions of dollars) to talk boxing all night.

And did you know? It’s not terrible.

I mean, if you’re looking for actual play-by-play commentary, you need to check out the main audio feed. Donald Trump’s feed is a mishmash of Trump combat sports anecdotes and then some generally amusing conversations between Trump and former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos, which brought happy love throughout the bizarre relationship.

Those seeking controversy will leave disappointed. Trump did not mention defeating Joe Biden once, and barely referenced the election results all night. Instead he talked about hosting Mike Tyson at his Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, and how he forgave boxing legend Jack Johnson while he was in office.

He also questioned why all the big handsome men with beautiful bodies keep missing out on the lesser men (shouts Tyson Fury).

When Trump returned for the co-main and main-event portions of the card, he got a standing ovation from the crowd, who cheered him up loudly and started a chant of We love Trump.

He joins Jorge Masvidal, whom Trump credited with swinging a large part of Miami to his side for the 2020 election (Masvidal was part of a Fighters against Socialism bus tour with Donald Trump Jr.).

It’s definitely been one of the weirdest sports nightmares in a while, and we have to give it to the Triller: they know what they are and they lean on it. We may not like seeing the 58 -year -old’s box (unsafe, not cool), but seeing Anderson Silva’s crush Tito Ortiz as Titos hero Donald Trump commented that it’s sure to be weird.
