GOP Rep. Called. Adam Kinzinger that Trump is ‘one of the weakest men I’ve ever seen’

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) Was torn apart by former President Donald Trump on Monday night, after the former president became angry at former President George W. Bush’s criticism of domestic terrorism in a 9/11 commeration speech over the weekend.

“I mean, [Trump] proved George W.’s point as quickly and surprisingly as you could, “Kinzinger told John Berman on CNN.” To anyone who still kind of looks at Donald Trump as a common bearer for the Republican party, this is one of the weakest men I’ve ever seen. “

On Monday, Trump issued a statement that would be returned to Bush because of the resemblance of violent extremism and domestic terrorism to those from other countries, while suggesting both could be significant threats to the United States in their own way. Although Bush did not specify who or what exactly he was referring to, there is speculation that he was referring to the Jan. 6 riot in the capitol, and thus possibly a subsection of Trump supporters.

And Kinzinger, for his part, didn’t take right away Trump’s possible defense of Capitol rioters or extremists. “Someone with strength is someone who can take criticism, who can come out on a day like September 11 and mobilize people. And, you know, people on my side who want to use the word ‘snowflake’ when talking about people getting really easily angry, that’s Donald Trump. ”

Kinzinger said he was “certain” that he believed Trump was weak, because of both the vulnerable and the punching fans. “I mean, he was going to attack a radio host, for goodness sake, when he was president of the United States. That’s to me, at least how I grew up … that’s to me always weak.”
