Donald Trump wrote to the Georgia Secretary of State asking him to “define” the election results.

In the letter, Trump reiterated unproven claims of widespread election fraud.

The letter came a day before a “Justice for J6” rally was due in Washington DC.

Donald Trump sent a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asking him to start “decertifying” the 2020 election, on Friday.

The letter, posted on Twitter by Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington, says there is attached evidence of “large-scale voter fraud” in Georgia.

Trump was referring to 43,000 absentee voters whom he claimed violated chain of custody rules.

“I would politely ask that your department review this and, if true, along with many other allegations of voter fraud and voter irregularities, initiate election decertification prices, or whatever is legally correct. that is legal, and declare the real winner, “the letter said.

Since losing the 2020 election, Donald Trump has repeated unproven claims of widespread voter and election fraud.

Joe Biden won the state of Georgia a little over 12,000 votes out of nearly 5 million votes cast.

The state conducted recounts and audits, and each confirmed Joe Biden’s win.

Republican Raffensperger had previously said there was “no doubt” that Biden won.

In his letter to Raffensperger, Trump said, “People can’t understand why you and Governor Brian Kemp have adamantly refused to acknowledge the proven fact today.”

None of the legal challenges in the 2020 election were recorded in court, and the Justice Department said they found no evidence of widespread fraud.

In February, prosecutors in Georgia launched a criminal investigation into Trump about his attempt to pressure Georgia officials to rescind his absence from the state.

The letter from Trump came a day before a “Justice for J6” rally was due in Washington DC.

The rally supported those charged with crimes related to the Jan. 6 uprising, when Donald Trump supporters rushed to the Capitol in an attempt to stop Joe Biden’s election victory from being certified.

Trump this week referred to the rioters charged with the crimes as “political prisoners.”
