Parler is a website that calls itself a free -speaking social media platform, finds favor with conservatives on the right wing, and has been embroiled in its fair share of controversy, including the fact that it was endorsed by former President Donald Trump in January. The 6th raid on the Capitol building is set to promote JJ Yeleys No. 17 cars at the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Alsco Uniforms 302.
Alsco Uniforms 302, which will take place Sept. 25, is the first Playoff race for the NASCARs Xfinity series.
It’s great that Parler is riding for this race, Yeley said in a statement. I think Parler echoes the sentiment of many NASCAR fans and I, that free speech and the ability to have open conversation or offline without fear is an important part of this country.
A press release also noted that Parler CEO George Farmer is looking to unite with a driver who reflects the values important to both the Parler and NASCAR communities. JJ Yeley was that man.
The 44-year-old Yeley has had a long career path that has seen him become one of six drivers to win the USAC Triple Crown. He also competed in IndyCar, where he earned a season-best finish of 28th overall, followed by a NASCAR Cup Series race where his best overall finish of the season was 21st.

In 2021, Yeley will be competing in three cars for two different Xfinity teams on a part-time basis: Our Motorsports No. 23 and SS-Green Light Racing along with Rick Ware Racing Nos. Teams. 7 and 17. He is not competing in the Playoffs.
An alignment between NASCAR and Parler has proven to be quite an indisputable one. Over the past few years, NASCAR has taken various measures, such as banning the flying of Confederate flags at races, as a way to create a more entertaining atmosphere. Parler, meanwhile, has become a hotbed for right-wing politics that includes criticizing NASCAR for the move as well as accusing Bubba Wallace of playing[ing] victim after one of his staff discovered what appeared to be a noose hanging in the Wallaces garage.
NASCAR has since made an effort to align itself with a more tolerant mindset, which Yeleys ’partnership with Parler has subsequently weakened.
