Get there, done: That’s pretty much how Sean Spicer builds his interest in working for Donald Trump.
In a new podcast for Mediaite, the former White House press secretary throws up about his time working for Trump and why he has no desire to leave his current gig at Newsmax to work for the former president.
Spicer said he likes what he’s doing now and “until Donald Trump comes along, he’s a tough guy to work with. I mean, he demands a lot of people working for him.”
He added: “But since I left, [Trump has] became a good friend and he couldn’t believe supporting my efforts in my work at Newsmax, my books. She voted me ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ And I would rather be a friend and supporter than an employee. ”
There may also be another reason Spicer doesn’t want to work for Trump again: He admitted to worrying that the former president continued to lie about the 2020 election being rigged.
“Yeah, I think it’s about,” Spicer said. “And you saw the fall, frankly, in the Georgia Senate election where we lost two seats, frankly, because a lot of people said, well, I wouldn’t come out and vote if the system was [rigged]. “
That didn’t stop Spicer from lying to Trump on his own show.
Earlier this month, Trump predicted to Spicer that America would end in three years while also hinting that he could run for the position in 2024 three years from now.
