MANY social media users have carved pumpkins resembling the former President of the United States– and the results have been frightening.

Trumpkin may be back this year after it first appeared in 2016 when Trump first ran for President, and the designs are getting more creative.

In recent years, people from all over the US and even the UK have shared their own carved orange pumpkin, made similar to the 45th President.

Some even joked that the bright orange color resembles Trumps famous brown.

Some creative Halloween lovers have used straw to resemble Trumps iconic blonde hair.

And a couple ran with the Covid-19 theme, to show the President who was injected with the drug after he caught the virus last year.

Follow these simple steps to make Halloween great again!

Choose a large squash with a flat surface and a long horizontal stem (I’ll explain the stem part later.) Cut a hole in the top of the squash and scrape off the courtyards. Remove the seeds and set aside the insides later. Print the stencil (below) and tape it to the flat side of your pumpkin. This is a simple template that should be easy to use, regardless of your carving skills. Trace the template with a pencil. Be sure to press hard as the point is to create grooves on the surface of the pumpkins to guide your carving. After removing the template, take a pen and darken the grooves for ease of carving. Engrave! Use a small knife with a serrated edge to give you better control. Now comes the fun part – the hair! Spray the pumpkin cover with spray glue. If you don’t have spray glue, you can still create internal hairs, even if it may not be very sticky. Follow the will with the lid and the horizontal stem to erect the hair. Add more spray as you add new layers. Enjoy your Trumpkin! Allow the glue spray to dry before touching or removing the cover. Set your Trumpkin outside and insert a lit candle.
