Although the panel at The View did not respond to McCain’s allegations, there are other people who are taking advantage of the political pundit circulating in the press. Trump issued a statement knocking down McCain and taking jabs at his father, the late Senator John McCain.

“Isn’t it funny that Meghan McCain, who has always been an oppressive and usually low life, is now complaining that she’s being bullied by The View’s Slobs and Radical Left maniacs?” read the statement.

Trump went on to remind the former ABC co-host on the day that he was the one who “made it possible for his father to have the longest funeral in the world,” despite the former president not being a “fan.” He went on to call the late senator a “RINO” and went on to make claims about voter fraud in Arizona.

The two-time impeach Trump went on to suggest to McCain to “fight against The View’s losers in the way he fights against very good and good Republicans.”

McCain saw the statement and responded on Twitter with the following tweet: “Thanks for the public promotion.”

Meghan McCain talks about alleged poisoning in ‘The View’

One of the biggest statements McCain made in his memoir “Bad Republican” was The View operating in a toxic environment, saying that anyone who watched the show might know it.

“I feel like everyone knows. You can watch the show and see that it’s unchanged and disorganized and sultry. For me personally, it felt too much isolation because of my political ideology,” she said in an interview with Variety. “I was the only one who was conservative on the show. The third year, they ended up hiring a producer for me who was also conservative.”

McCain says the conservatism of the resident on the panel “people took away their anger at [Trump] administration ”to him.

Fallout with Whoopi Goldberg

Trump referred to McCain talking about his release with his co-hosts. One of the key revelations was McCain felt that Whoopi Goldberg no longer wanted him in The View. McCain said he noticed this after the “Girl, stop talking” incident that happened in December 2019.

“It’s embarrassing for me, and I’m a serious person. I feel like I can talk like a child, ”she said in an interview with Variety. “And when things go viral on Twitter and people write things, it really affects you. I feel so great.”

McCain says he “loves Whoopi” but “he felt at a certain point that he stopped respecting” him and “it’s hard.”

“I wanted things to be different. I knew he had his own dark times,” he added. “When I was on the show, he almost died of pneumonia. I wish we had better leadership that could stop a lot of this. “
