Donald Trump Jr. hit Alec Baldwin after the film set in the shooting tragedy

DONALD TRUMP JR hit Alec Baldwin following the fatal shooting of a crew member on the set of the actor’s latest film.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died Thursday after being shot with a shotgun fired by Baldwin at Rust’s range.

Court documents revealed that the actor was given a gun by a director, who told Baldwin it was safe to use the weapon.

Following the tragedy, Baldwin was pastored by Trump Jr. on Instagram.

He posted a photo of a rocky Baldwin face with the caption: “That look when an anti gun nut kills more people than your extensive gun collection …”

The son of former Republican President Donald Trump is an avid hunter and last year was reportedly running for the NRA presidency.

Meanwhile, Baldwin, who regularly fooled Trump Senior with Saturday Night Live sketches that made fun of the former President, is a Democrat and campaigners on animal rights.

In a follow-up post, Trump Jr. also referred to accusations last year that the actor’s wife Hilaria had overstated his heritage in Spain.

The businessman shared a photo of the couple featuring the words: “How can we say, in English, we’re f **** d?”

A third post featured an image of cartoon character Homer Simpson wearing a placard, which read: “Let’s all watch Alec Baldwin blame the gun.”

Adopting a more sentimental tone, Trump Jr. wrote next to one of his posts that he had concerns about how the tragedy might take place.

“Why is a prop gun loaded and capable of firing?” Trump Jr. wrote.

“Why does an actor point a gun at a cinematographer and pull the trigger?

“Why those who hate guns have no problem profiting from them.

“Why don’t those who hate guns and profit from them learn basic gun safety to be able to double check on these things themselves?

“The list goes on and on do you have any other questions? So list them below.”

A report in the LA Times said concerns about gun safety were flagged after previous incorrect set-ups and staff marched in protest of working conditions.

A vigil in memory of the Hutchins was held in New Mexico on Saturday night.

In a statement yesterday, Baldwin said he was cooperating with the police investigation.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the sad accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and highly admired colleague,” he added.
